| Who Are
We?
Central Lutheran is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church
in America (ELCA). The ELCA has approximately 5 million members
in 11,000 congregations, making it the fourth largest Protestant
denomination in North American.
The Mission of Central Lutheran Church is to be a church so
deeply and confidently rooted in the gospel of God's grace,
revealed in Jesus Christ, that we joyfully give ourselves in
witness and service.
The Vision of Central Lutheran Church is to be a people united
in Jesus Christ, dedicated to growing in faith and discipleship
and committed to inviting, preparing, and supporting all people
as we serve God through word and deed.
Beginning in 1890, Central has a rich heritage of being a traditional,
conservative, and confessional congregation with an emphasis
on engaging the future with boldness.
We invite you to explore the meaning of the Christian faith
and a commitment to Jesus Christ and to become a member of Central
Lutheran Church by participating in New Member classes. These
classes are offered several times each year; contact the pastor
for more information.
